What You Directly Provide Us

We may also collect, use or share Aggregated Data such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose. Aggregated Data could be derived from your personal data but is not considered person data in law as this data will not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. If, however, we combine or connect Aggregated Data with your personal data so that it can directly or indirectly identify you, we treat the combined data as personal data that will be used in accordance with this privacy policy.

We do not collect any other special categories of personal data about you (this includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinion, trade union membership, additional information about your health, and genetic or biometric data). Nor do we collect information about criminal convictions or offenses.

Information We Collect from Other Sources


We may also receive information from other sources and combine that with information we collect through our Website. Agents, Consultants and Third Party Services


We may contract with other parties to provide services to Mahkana, such as server maintenance or application development.  We will never share any more of your information than is necessary for them to provide the service, and will require these third parties to comply with this Privacy Policy.


Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services through links on our Website. These third party websites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked websites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our Website and welcome any feedback about these websites.


Mahkana uses third party vendors to perform certain business-related functions.  Examples of such functions include data storage services, database maintenance services, shipping and payment processing. This means that some third party vendors will have access to your personally identifiable information, including but not limited to username, password, device information, and payment transaction data (such as payment card information and billing and shipping addresses). (Third party vendors will also include any third party that offers products or services directly on our Website.) When Mahkana employs such third party vendors to perform services on its behalf, Mahkana will only provide them with the personally identifiable information that they need or use to perform their specific function. Analytics Services Provided by Others

When you make a purchase on the Mahkana website a portion of the proceeds are provided to a designated charity.  We also may provide the charities with whom we work reports of purchasing patterns of our Users, but Mahkana will not provide those charities with the name or addresses of such Users without your consent.   


A Special Note for Parents and Legal Guardians


In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998, 15 U.S.C. § § 6501-06 and 16 C.F.R. § § 312.1-312.12, no one under age 13 may use or provide any personal information to or on the Website.
